Originally, ko-omote mask is used to represent a young woman in Noh (能, classical Japanese dance-drama), but from a modern sense it doesn't look like that, but rather, it even gives a slightly eerie impression.
The mask is made of cast iron and is rather heavy, so please mount it on a stable wall or pillar.
