Mañjuśrī is one of the Bodhisattvas who are worshiped in Mahayana Buddhism. The images of the Bodhisattva holding a sword represents prajna in the right hand and a sutra in the left. "Prajna" generally means the wisdom leading to enlightenment, but today it sometimes means knowledge or wisdom in a broader sense. The sword of the statue is removable.
There are individual differences in color. In particular, differences in old bronze color are somewhat large, so please inquire if you are concerned about this before purchasing.
