Kannon is said to appear in a variety of forms, among which the one-faced, two-armed form is especially known as Āryāvalokiteśvara. The statue shown here is a typical image, holding an unopened lotus flower in its left hand and holding a small image of Amitābha in front of the head. The statue is 36 cm tall, giving it a massive presence. The lotus buds are removable. The statue is elaborately made of zinc alloy and die-cast.
There are individual differences in color. In particular, differences in old bronze color are somewhat large, so please inquire if you are concerned about this before purchasing.
