The flower basin (水盤) has an unusual modern design that appears to be cut off around the perimeter. Made of thick cast copper and is quite heavy. This is a valuable work designed by master craftsman, Hasuda Shugoro(蓮田修吾郎) and colored with Takaoka traditional techniques. No outer wooden box, but comes with a warranty card.
